Case Study – Principle: ‘Gender-based approach should be part of all Dealing with the Past (DwP) processes’
In order to promote the principles of Dealing with the Past and in particular the principle that ” Gender-based approach should be part of all Dealing with the Past (DwP) processes”, HLCK publishes this analysis which explains the efforts and advocacy of various actors towards recognizing and gaining the status of victims of sexual violence during the war in Kosovo. In order to further assist this category of victims, the document provides recommendations to the competent actors to extend the time limits set by law, in order to give victims additional time to submit their requests for recognition.
