Condemn of the attack on Klan Kosova’s journalist
Youth Initiative for Human Rights in Kosovo (YIHR) condemns the attack on journalist from Klan Kosova television, Bojan Bozovic, which happened on July 26th, 2011 in the northern part of Kosovo. Bozovic was physically attacked by some Serbian citizens while he was reporting on the course of events near the border in northern Kosovo. He suffered injuries to the neck and arms, the camera which was filming was damage and he also received life threats.
YIHR considers this to be a direct attack on media freedom and free reporting, therefore requires from the authorities to bring those responsible before justice.
