Travel to Europe 2011 // Call for Applications

The Youth Initiative for Human Rights in Kosovo continues its journey to Europe. After the success of the project in 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010 where 71 youth were given the opportunity to travel through different European countries, the YIHR in Kosovo organizes the “Travel to Europe” project again.

This year, the YIHR in Kosovo will provide the same opportunity to 15 of the best students from universities in Kosovo. The chosen candidates will get Schengen Visas (for 30 days), Inter-rail tickets, EURO 26 or ISIC student cards, as well as the opportunity to travel around Europe at the routes of their own choices.

The basic criteria for selection are:
*Applicants have to be in the final year of their studies, not older than 26 years (applicants must submit certificate of admission to the final year of studies);
*Average score during studies should be 8,5 or above (applicants must submit certificate of passed exams and average score, issued by the Faculty, as well as a copy of index);
*Knowledge of foreign languages – English, German, French, Spanish or Italian;
Priority will be given to those candidates who have never traveled abroad.

A complete application should contain:
1. Application form
2. Certificate of admission to the final year of studies
3. Certificate of passed exams and average score, issued by the Faculty
4. Copy of index

Deadline for submitting the applications: 15 June 2011

Only completed applications will be taken into consideration. Applications sent after the deadline or carrying false information will not be considered.
